Job Description / Descripcin del trabajo:

1. Perform a variety of skilled carpentry work in the construction, installation, erection, maintenance, fabrication and repair of wooden structure and fixtures (for example: architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, concrete forms, metal and wood framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, etc.)
2. Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
3. Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements
4. Complete assigned carpentry tasks with quality workmanship
5. Operate a variety of power/manual tools and equipment used in skilled carpentry
6. Perform heavy physical labor
7. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
8. Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
10. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and foremen.
11. Knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures.

This position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements / Requisitos:

1. Ability to perform basic math.
2. Supervisory responsibilities.
3. Must be at least 18 years old.
4. On-the-job training offered.
5. Prolonged periods standing and working outside.
6. Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
7. Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
