A law firm in Westbury, NY, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Document Review Attorney with 1-5 years of experience in New York State practice, particularly in document review, real estate, litigation, or foreclosure. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of legal documents, demonstrating advanced computer skills, and effectively collaborating with a dynamic legal team.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough document reviews with a focus on quality control (QC) to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Analyze legal documents related to real estate, litigation, and foreclosure matters.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail while reviewing complex legal materials.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with legal teams to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Independently manage and complete assigned tasks under time constraints.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in New York State practice, with a preference for document review, real estate, litigation, or foreclosure experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify legal issues within documents.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
• Advanced computer skills for efficient document analysis and management.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar.
