At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important, so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in:
Compensation: $18 hour
Shift: Part-Time positions available. Must have flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
About the job: - Provide a visible and professional security presence at special events, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
- You will establish and maintain open communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing reassurance.
- You will monitor crowd behavior and respond promptly to any disturbances or security concerns.
- You will monitor the surroundings and conduct thorough risk assessments for special detail assignments and develop tailored security strategies.
- You will respond promptly to emergencies, taking decisive actions to mitigate risks and protect individuals or assets.
- You will collaborate with event organizers, local authorities, and emergency services to coordinate security efforts.
- You're good with reading and writing detailed reports.
- You’re able to maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times.
- You’re willing to travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
- You’re flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- You’re able to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- You’re able to builds trust with all clients, emphasizing the importance of maintaining professionalism and avoiding any misperceptions.
- You’re able to demonstrate a strong willingness to compromise and welcomes feedback; flexibility is key, and an open mindset is valued.
Your background: - You have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
- You’re able to pass an extensive screening process.
- You’re legally authorized to work in the United States.
- You have a Texas unarmed security license or ability to obtain one.
- You have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- You’re at least 21 years old.
- You have security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- You’re able to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time.
- You’re a proactive problem solver with the capability to work independently.
- You have the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.
- You’re dependable and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You’re comfortable working in an environment where attention to detail is crucial.
