Primary Talent Partners is seeking a GIS Technician I to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. This role will be a 12-month, full-time contract role with a high potential for extension and/or conversion.

THIS IS FOR A W-2 CONTRACT.

WE ARE UNABLE TO SUPPORT C2C OR PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP.

Job Description:

*This position will be responsible for completing tasks including reviewing as-built drawings from various sources, entering GIS data into Smallworld, and performing QAQC in Smallworld.

*Minimum 2 years GIS experience required.

*Strong background and demonstrated experience in ESRI products preferred.

*Experience in Smallworld preferred.

*Utility experience preferred.

*GIS or related technical degree preferred.

*Position will be Hybrid Classification - candidate would be expected to be in-office 2-3 days per weeks as defined by supervisor, remote the remaining days of the week.
