Graphic Designer & Product Photographer Location Ann Arbor, MI : Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for design and product photography? As a Graphic Designer/Product Photographer you will have the opportunity to produce visually captivating designs paired with compelling product imagery. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create marketing materials, product packaging, and digital assets while also taking ownership of product photography, coordinating photoshoots, and ensuring high-quality imagery that showcases our products effectively. • Please note: this position is located onsite in our Ann Arbor office. All applicants should submit a portfolio or your work in graphic design and product photography to be considered for this role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually stunning designs for various marketing materials, product packaging, and digital assets.
• Utilize your expertise in product touch-ups and photography to enhance the visual appeal of our products and elevate our brand.
• Take ownership of product photography, coordinating photoshoots, providing art direction, and ensuring high-quality imagery that showcases our products effectively.
• Photograph a wide range of products in our in-house studio or on location.
• Ensure that all product images meet our quality standards and accurately represent the products.
• Edit and retouch product images as needed to enhance their visual appeal and ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Follow and maintain a consistent brand identity across all design projects and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to support overall marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time to meet internal and external customer expectations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.
• All other responsibilities as needed
Desired Qualifications:
• high school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and expertise in product touch-ups and photography.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience with product photography and photo editing software.
• A passion for creativity and a desire to push the boundaries of design.
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
