Job Description
We are currently accepting resumes for a IT System Administrator Assc position in Roanoke, VA.
This position is Hybrid.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Maintain IT/OT Infrastructure systems (hardware and software) for 24/7/365 critical real-time operations facilities. Support users of OT Infrastructure systems. Ensure and provide documentation for compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Participate in a team culture of consistency, transparency, adaptability, and understood accountability.
Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and peripherals.
Install, update and patch operating systems, firmware, and software packages.
Coordinate and perform system reboots.
Maintain accurate and detailed change management records.
Configure network settings and resolve telecommunication issues.
Perform computer system backups and restorations.
Manage and monitor virtual computing environments.
Utilize and modify process documentation.
Support user account access, password management, and problem ticket resolution.
Provide after hour support as needed in an on-call rotation.
Analyze and facilitate resolution of computing environmental issues, such as power and HVAC.
Monitor and engage with the latest industry trends and technology.
Minimum Requirements:
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering related field or Associate's degree with 2 years system administration related experience or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years system administration related experience
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years' System Administration related experience (in addition to any experience identified above)
Additional Requirements:
Strong skills in communication, issue resolution, organization, and facilitation are essential.
Detailed knowledge and experience is desired in the following areas:
1. Windows and Linux Operating Systems
2. Client Server and Workstation Hardware
3. TCP/IP Networking
4. Remote Computer Management
Potential for occasional OT if needed/approved.
Hybrid role (part-time onsite, part time work from home), so candidates must be local to Roanoke, VA area. Please list candidate location on the resume.
