C2C or W2 Tech Associates is currently seeking a Junior Network Engineer with our clients in NYC, NJ, and CT. This is a 12 + month contract position. Minimum Skills and Experience: Excellent understanding of network architectures including the roles of routers, switches, firewall, and application delivery controllers. Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills, especially L1/2/3 troubleshooting skills. 3-5 years of advanced configuration & administration experience with CISCO and ARISTA. 3-5 years of experience with configuring basic routing and switching, preferably using Arista, Juniper & Cisco. 3-5 years of experience with installation and deinstallation of network equipment (firewalls, switches, Routers etc) The position is more of Infrastructure Network Engineer. The work is split between 70% Field Installation and 30% on site support. Acts as a liaison between the IT Department and external vendors, consultants, and suppliers to further project work and resolve problems with supported systems. Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers · Certifications Preferred such as (CCNA, CCNP, ACE) Job Type: Contract: 12 Months Contract 8-hour shift Work Location: In person – Brooklyn, New York.
