Qualifications
1. Illinois paraprofessional license or equivalent is required.
2. Must be available to work on school days 6:30am-3:10pm (6:30am-9:00am bus monitor, 9:10am-3:10pm study hall para) + 30 minute unpaid lunch. In addition, the bus route schedule varies according to area schools and employee will need to work as bus monitor various dates during summer/breaks. Study hall para is only during Geneseo school district school year.
3. Have previous experience working with children.
4. Applicant must be able to work with middle school age students and with a variety of personality types, experiences and backgrounds.
5. Strong technology skills, good student management skills, and collaborative work ethic.
6. Must pass a background check.
Salary/Benefits
2024-25 school year: $16.25/hr and a complete description of pay and benefits is available on the District website
