Job Description
Fast-paced, modern Oral Surgery practice seeking a licensed dental assistant.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Providing support to surgeon, patients, and staff as needed
* Preparing exam rooms and surgical rooms for patient care
* Preventing the spread of infection and disease by maintaining an OSHA-compliant work environment as well as sterilization, maintenance, and stocking of instruments, etc.
* X rays/ICAT and IntraOral Scans
Qualifications include:
* Oral surgery experience (minimum of 2+ years preferred)
* Nitrous oxide monitoring and radiology certification
* Critical thinking skills
* Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments and terminology
* Exceptional patient care skills
* Successful completion of a dental assisting licensing program, as per state guidelines
* X-ray certification
