ORAL/COSMETIC SURGERY office seeking a full-time dedicated and skilled Surgical Assistant to join our surgical team oriented atmosphere. The ideal candidate needs to have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask. Dental or surgical assisting experience is a MUST. Benefits offered to full time employee and salary is based on experience.

Duties consist of but not limited to:

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Prepare the rooms by ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready for use.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with basic life support as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document patient information in their charts.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Participate in post-operative care, including monitoring recovery and addressing any complications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the surgical area to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Some Requirements are:

• Experience or strong knowledge of dental and surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Ability to assess and monitor vital signs effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
