We seek a  Part Time Pharmacy Technician  to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

\n

Location: Onsite at 2400 NW 24th St., Ste P, Fort Worth, TX 76106. Will be required to make occasional drop-offs to post office when needed

\n

Schedule:  This is Part time role at 16 hours a week. Monday 1:00pm to 5:00pm, Tuesday 8:00am to 5:00pm CST and Wednesday 8:00am to 12:00pm CST (Shift hours and time may shift based on business needs)

Primary Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff

  • \n
  • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist

  • \n
  • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies

  • \n
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders

  • \n
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records

  • \n
  • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements

  • \n
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

  • \n
  • Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills

  • \n
  • Clinic payment verifications

  • \n
  • PAP assistance program duties 

  • \n
  • Other duties as assigned

  • \n
  • Will be required to make occasional drop-offs to post office or MHMR clinic when needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Texas 

  • \n
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification

  • \n
  • Ability to use your own car to make occasional drop-offs to post office or MHMR clinic when needed

  • \n
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license

  • \n
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

    \n
  • Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience 

  • \n
  • Inventory ordering system experience

  • \n
  • PAP experience 
  • \n

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
