Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to support survey operations on a wide range of public and private projects. This individual will play a key role in leading survey crews, ensuring accuracy, and delivering high-quality mapping and boundary services. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee field survey operations, including boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Prepare and review legal descriptions, plats, and survey documents.
• Manage field crews, assign work, and provide technical oversight.
• Perform QA/QC on survey deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Interface with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Assist in project scoping, cost estimation, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Texas Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree not necessary with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience, with a strong understanding of field and office procedures.
• Proficiency with GPS, total stations, and data collectors; familiarity with CAD and related software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Texas surveying standards, legal principles, and field practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Work Environment & Additional Info:

• Mostly local projects with minimal overnight travel.
