Full job description
ProTac Security Services is currently looking to fill open positions in our Government and Aerospace Sites Group. GAS Officers work on military installations and help ensure that physical and electronic security threats are monitored and intercepted. GAS Officers ensure their mission is successful by maintaining a high level of awareness and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
· Provide security and escort services to contractors performing work on military installation.
· Coordinate daily duties with installation and contractors.
· Maintain awareness of authorized and unauthorized areas and persons.
· Always remain with Contractors while in approved areas.
· Maintain physical security measures, including key control and preventing unauthorized access.
· Report any suspicious activity or damage.
· Respond to all requests for emergency assistance regardless of the nature of the emergency.
Required Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Prior experience in Escort/Unarmed Security or related field
· Must possess an active clearance issued by the Defense Security Service (DSS) at either the SECRET or TOP SECRET Level.
· Effective communication skills in both written and oral English.
· Physical and emotional capability to perform assigned tasks.
· Ability to follow instructions and procedures with a primary orientation toward emergency response and security violation reporting.
