As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at the healthcare location, while providing customer service to clients, patients, and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as necessary.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare environment to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and managing visitor entry as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
