Job Description

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specialized in teletherapy is sought for the current school year to support K-12 students through remote services. This contract position involves delivering speech and language therapy virtually, adapting strategies to meet each students unique communication needs, and collaborating with educators and families to promote student progress.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations via teletherapy platforms
• Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students across K-12 grade levels
• Monitoring and documenting student progress in accordance with educational standards
• Communicating regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff to coordinate care
• Utilizing evidence-based teletherapy techniques to engage students in goal-directed activities
• Maintaining accurate records and complying with confidentiality protocols

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience providing speech and language therapy services in a teletherapy setting
• Strong knowledge of speech disorders, language delay, articulation, fluency, and voice issues in school-aged children
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for virtual collaboration
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively while meeting deadlines and documentation requirements
• Familiarity with educational environments and individualized education plans (IEPs) preferred
