About G2’s Intern Program G2’s Intern Program is back for its 4th amazing summer! You’ll work closely with leaders and peers throughout the 10 weeks- focusing on making a real impact on G2, with a final presentation about your work to our Senior Leadership Team. We’ve packed the summer full of professional development and social events to lay the foundation for your career, and we’ll close it out with G2’s Mid-Year Meetup, a celebration of the first half of the year. G2 Intern Program Details 10 weeks: June 3rd - August 9th Hybrid: Tuesday through Thursday required in-person at our Downtown Chicago HQ Pay: $24/hour; 40 hours a week About The Role As a member of G2’s Summer Internship Program, you will have the opportunity to join an exciting Product team, complete a variety of projects, and participate in professional development events. You’ll work closely with an Intern Mentor who will support you throughout the Program. You will be fully immersed into the team, and exposed to all the teams’ activities, such as planning and refining work, negotiating with product and engineering for priorities, development, testing, debugging and deployment (to production) of work. No two days are the same at G2 and your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but you will have 1 large-scale project assigned and completed by the end of 10 weeks: Create and deploy code from source control to our live G2 website. Requirements A rising Senior at an accredited college or university pursuing a Computer Science (or equivalent) degree Experience with Ruby on Rails is required Attention to detail and concern for accuracy Creativity and entrepreneurship Excellent organization skills (email, task management, follow-up) Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively and independently, delivering on assigned tasks and responsibilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Our Commitment to Inclusivity and Diversity At G2, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment where people of every background can thrive and feel welcome.
