Job Description


Charges for parking and provides security to parked cars during Event Center events

Examples of Duties


1. Collects fees for automobiles parked in the Event Center parking lots.
2. Aids patrons and directs traffic when necessary.
3. Secures towing for vehicles parked or stopped in a hazardous manner.
4. Makes change and handles start bank.
5. Must have a vehicle to use at parking lot entrance.
6. Performs other duties of a comparable level/type as required.

Minimum Qualifications


Graduation from high school, minimal related work experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Special Requirements:

Possession of a valid North Dakota operator's license.

Must be able to work outdoors during all seasons.
Supplemental Information
Ability to work with the general public firmly, courteously, tactfully and impartially.
Some knowledge of City traffic and parking ordinances.
Knowledge of the Event Center parking lots to assist people with information to park properly, keep the handicapped parking areas open and free of unauthorized vehicles and make sure the 10 or 20 minutes parking areas are kept open for ticket buyers or other short duration business.
Ability to work various shifts.
Skill in communication, interpersonal skill as applied to interaction with co-workers, supervisor, general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to provide and/or receive work direction.
Must present themselves in a neat and orderly fashion at all times, but also dress according to the weather.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
