Position Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled website developer and graphic designer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and updating multiple websites for our organization, as well as ensuring their functionality, performance, and security.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with WordPress, web design tools, and languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You should also have a keen eye for aesthetics, usability, and user-friendliness. You should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams such as marketing, engineering, and IT.

You will be switching between two locations: Tempe,AZ and Chandler,AZ. This is an entry-level role that does not require a lot of experience but requires enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade multiple websites for the organization
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows , process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Design page layouts and templates using WordPress
• Produce design assets for use in social media and marketing channels
• Develop and maintain consistent branding across all websites
• Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues
• Identify and respond to all website security breaches
• Ensure that all websites are protected by enabling the appropriate security measures
• Collaborate with UX, marketing, engineering, and IT teams on various projects
• Utilize data and analytics in making design decisions

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a website designer or manager or a similar role
• Proficiency in WordPress (required)
• Familiarity with web design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
• Knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Creativity
